LARRY KUDLOW: Trump must make it clear that America owns the entire Arabian Gulf and Strait

Project Freedom for the United States Navy to open the Strait of Hormuz for commercial ships and most importantly oil supertankers is its best idea. And according to analysts, the Navy planned a route to Oman, away from Iran and strengthened by military protection. The sea mines have been removed, a protective dome has been established that penetrates well into Iran. All of this is bad. It is a good step.

It is the irreversible side of the Iranian port blockade, which has now turned 51 ships in the end. That blockade was also a good strategy by President Trump and our military. No oil sales, no money for Iran. There is no payment for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Nothing but bankrupt businesses. And all the looting and looting of money taken from the people of Iran and transferred to offshore bank accounts has been stopped or taken directly by Treasury Secretary Scott Besent’s plan to prevent the criminals who run Iran from getting their stolen loot and somehow staying high on the hog even after they have been completely defeated and eliminated by the Israeli-American coalition. In other words, the embargo is in effect.

Now we return to Project Freedom, which officially began on Monday. It must show its worth as soon as possible. As far as we know, only 2 commercial ships have not passed through. There are however 1,550 commercial vessels docked in the Arabian Gulf. Most of it is fat. The fact remains that there is one important reason why the prices of oil and gasoline at the pump are so high.

So the trick here is to get Project Freedom completely overhauled so we’re talking about 30 ships, then 50 ships going through, then 100 ships. At that time, oil prices will start to drop slightly. If we don’t, we risk some disappointment. And Iran will talk about it.

Mr. Trump appears to be unable to make a decision yet about breaking the ceasefire and starting the next round of bombing campaign. On “The Hugh Hewitt Show,” he was asked “Is the ceasefire over, Mr. President? Is it over? Are we going to hit them tonight?” Mr. Trump replied: “Well, I can’t tell you that.”

At the White House today, a reporter asked: “What do they need to do to break the ceasefire?” Mr. Trump replied: “Well, you’re going to find out, because I’m going to let you know. They know what to do, and they know what to do, and they know what not to do.”

Mr. Trump is considering his options. That is what a wise military commander must do. However, the time is approaching when he must decide. If the Navy can push a few hundred oil tankers into the Strait that is a big win for America and its allies. And if Iran keeps bombing, it will be a death wish as the US-Israeli military alliance finishes the job. However, Project Freedom must remain silent. We must make it clear that America owns the entire Arabian gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.
