Texas Man Arrested After Kidnapping 12-Year-Old Girl Walking Her Dog

A Texas girl was kidnapped while walking her dog to a local hotel, where authorities found her and the man who allegedly kidnapped her.

Graham Michael Dunn27, is accused of forcing a 12-year-old child into his car Friday night, January 30, while walking his dog in Galveston, according to court documents seen by KTRK-TV.

The dog later appeared at their home, alone, which led them to call the police, the television station reported.

The girl started walking her dog around 7:00 p.m. that night and “didn’t come home for more than 90 minutes,” the Galveston Police Department said in a news release Saturday, January 31.

Her call was eventually traced to the Galveston Beach Hotel, where Dunn is accused of feeding her two pills, court documents said, according to KTRK-TV.

While searching for him, authorities also saw him on video footage from the hotel, police said.

The footage appeared to show her “entering a room with an unknown male,” identified as Dunn, according to police.

Video posted on Facebook by Harvey Freebirddescribed by KGTX 7 as a police auditor, shows police responding to the hotel around 4:00 a.m. on January 31, the television station reported.

Police then entered the hotel room and found Dunn and the girl, according to police. They arrested him for aggravated kidnapping, police said.

Information on Dunn’s legal representation was not listed in court records viewed by Us Weekly afternoon on Wednesday, February 4.

After Galveston police rescued the girl, she told investigators she felt “confused” after Dunn gave her two pills at the hotel, according to court documents obtained by KTRK-TV.

The girl also said Dunn sexually assaulted her and filmed the abuse on her phone, according to investigators, the television station reported.

When police found them inside the hotel room, they found Dunn in her casket and saw the girl in bed “with her pants down,” according to court documents reviewed by the television station.

He was eventually taken to a local emergency room for a check-up, according to police.

“The investigation is ongoing, and other charges may be filed,” the police said.

The Galveston Police Department did not immediately return a request for comment Us on February 4.

Court records show Dunn’s bond was set at $500,000.

He also has an outstanding warrant out of Dallas County, records show. The County Sheriff’s Office told KTRK-TV the warrant is related to a domestic violence case.

Dunn is accused separately of crimes involving three women in North Carolina, according to records viewed by the television station.

Dunn is due in court on Feb. 10 in connection with the Galveston kidnapping, records show.

If convicted of kidnapping, Dunn could face anywhere from two to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000, according to Dallas-based law firm Saputo Toufexis.
