Etta finds herself forced into Miami’s criminal underworld, and undergoes a dangerous transformation as she navigates violence, betrayal and what she’s truly capable of.
MIA will star Karen Campbell (her credits include The Outlander again Dexter) serving as both producer and executive producer. In addition to Gisela, the cast also includes Cary Elwes, Danay Garcia, Brittany Adebumola, Dylan Jackson, Alberto Guerra, Maurice Compte, Gerardo Celasco again Martha Milans.

‘We Bury the Dead’ (2025) – Hulu
We bury the dead follows Ava (Daisy Ridley), a woman who goes to Tasmania after a military disaster leaves the region overrun with zombies – initially thought to be harmless but gradually turning violent. Ava joins a recovery unit and eventually uses her involvement as a way to search for her missing husband (Matt Whelan) and another volunteer Clay (Brenton Thwaites). But as Ava ventures deeper into an uncharted, zombie-infested landscape, the line between survival and misery begins to blur, turning her search into something deeply personal and unsettling.
We bury the dead it’s not just a traditional zombie story. Rather than focusing on a series of action-packed scenes full of gory gore, it uses the apocalypse as a backdrop to explore loss, memory and the emotional weight of an unfinished relationship. Ridley anchors the film handily with an emotionally raw performance, and the steady direction and eerie atmosphere help create a truly immersive experience. We bury the dead a zombie movie that sneaks up on you with more than just its horror.
