Pitt’s Isa Briones Criticizes Fans Who Shouted Mid-Broadway Show

Pitt star Isa Briones he calls fans “disrespectful” who attend his Broadway shows.

“Hey hey hey! Once again, Broadway is not a circus,” Briones, 27, wrote on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, May 2. “Don’t yell whatever you want at the performers. Shouting ‘When are you going to finish your charts’ before I sing ‘Who’s Sorry Now’ is very disrespectful to your audience and your actors on stage.”

He continued, “Y’all are pissin’ me off. Love and light and please remember you’re sitting in the commons and watching art.”

Briones currently plays as Connie Francis in the Broadway production Just in timea musical about a legendary singer Bobby Darin. (Gracie Lawrence who originated the role and was later replaced Sarah Hyland before Briones took over.)

“It’s so much fun. I’m really having the time of my life,” said Briones, who made her Broadway debut. Hadestown in 2024, he was told Rolling Stone last month. “Theatre makes me happy, and I like to take a break from TV and play Pitt to do something different and more exciting.”

He continued, “I love theater people. It’s my favorite place to be. I was raised by theater people my whole life and it’s the best, best community in the world.”

Opened PittBriones plays medical resident Trinity Santos. Throughout season 2, she was juggling treating patients who were struggling to find time to complete her medical charts that threatened to derail her studies. With Just in timeBriones plays the “Pretty Little Baby” singer.

“I will not spoil this program for people who have not seen it as it is [based on] Real life. [Connie’s] in the shortest part of the program, but you see the growth of the years,” he said Rolling Stone. “From being a little kid trying to make music to becoming a star of the day, it all happened in 20 minutes.”

According to Briones, he “got involved” in the game “suddenly”.

“In the eyes of people, he is above the world, but he is facing something very painful in his life,” he said. “She can’t be with Bobby and she has a father who is a bit abusive and says, ‘You’re going to fix your ass.’

Briones also admitted how Once Upon a Time viewers watched his character play “sorry” during “Who’s Sorry Now.”

“His father shot a gun in the dressing room just before he went to sing. This is a very sad moment and he has to smile and act,” explained the actor. “That’s something I can’t relate to right now in this weird time. I’ve been successful in an incredible way that I never dreamed of. And, I’m going through my stuff, but I’m going to play through grief.”
