Brooke Hogan Addresses Rumors She Has ‘A Thing’ With Costar

Brooke Hogan shut down rumors that she’s “having an affair” with her married HGTV costar Scott McGillivray.
“People love to speculate,” Hogan, 37, wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, April 29. “There were a lot of people commenting on my post with Scott suggesting ‘something’ was going on. And honestly, it’s just mean and hateful. (But sorry we’re funny and cute on camera😌).”
The two currently star as teammates on HGTV Play Blockwhere four teams — each featuring a renovation expert and celebrity partner — compete to renovate identical Las Vegas homes on a $275,000 budget. (Season 7 of Play Block and features Taniya Nayak and 98 Degrees’ Drew Lachey, I am Starsiak Hawk and an NFL star Vernon Davisagain Kim Wolfe again Southern Charm‘s Chelsea Meissner.)
Hogan tried to ease the rumors on social media by sharing a carousel of photos of McGillivray, 48, and her husband, Steven Oleksyincluding a funny picture of him Play Block costar literally feeding his partner.
“That’s how it is with those people [spreading rumors] — I’ll leave you with these pictures of Scott and my husband. If you’re worried about anything, worry about my hockey player husband stealing her sweet Canadian heart,” she joked.
McGillivray gushed in the comments section on Instagram, clarifying, “I’ve never fed Brooke like this! Just Steve.”
I Imported Goods The host tied the knot with his wife, Sabrina McGillivrayVaughan, Ontario, in June 2008. The McGillivrays have two daughters—Myah, 14, and Layla, 12.
Meanwhile, Hogan married Oleksy in June 2022, but the public found out about it 18 months later. They welcomed twins, Oliver and Molly, in January 2025.
“So…I’ve been sitting around cooking these two characters. Oliver Andrew Oleksy + Molly Gene Oleksy [were] born January 15, 2025,” he shared on Instagram at the time. God is good.”
The twins arrived a few months before Brooke’s father, Hulk Hogandied at age 71 in July 2025 of heart disease, with atrial fibrillation and chronic lymphocytic leukemia as underlying causes.
Earlier this month, Brooke opened up exclusively Us Weekly about feeling disconnected from the Hulk in the last months of his life. (The two had been separated for about two years, with Brooke removing herself from her father’s will before his death.)
“He said, ‘You go this way, I’m going that way,'” Brooke said Us. “That’s sad. I think that’s what makes me so boring to my family. They know I’ll beat you until you do the right thing. I saw what happened to him and the people around him. I saw his strength and saw what life could be like. And he just wasn’t there.
He continued, “I was pregnant with my twins, I had just gotten married, and I had to rest.”
Brooke agreed with him Us interview that he still has doubts about whether he would have repaired his relationship with Hulk if he had been alive.
“I don’t know if we would have contacted each other again or if he would still be alive because of the state of mind he was in,” Brooke explained. “He would have had to change his mind and change the company, I don’t know if he was there, I don’t know if he was willing to do that.
Hulk was married to a yoga instructor Sky Daily at the time of his death. (The former WWE champion shares Brooke with her younger brother, Nick Hoganfirst wife, Linda Hoganand later married Jennifer McDaniel from 2010 to 2021.)
