Kylie Kelce Addresses Rumors Jason Doesn’t Watch Their Kids

Kylie Kelce She says critics took her past comments about hiring babysitters when her husband, Jason Kelceit is at home without context.

“It was taken so badly out of context that it pissed me off, like months,” Kylie, 34, said during the Wednesday, March 25, episode of “Cam Chat.” “Because there comes a time when you can set the record straight, but what time are you in the future?” [doing it]? And like, ‘I don’t need to.’ This is the same thing, like, if I’m going to talk about it, I’m going to talk about it. If I’m not, I’m not.”

Back in December 2024, Kylie caused a stir when she revealed that she would arrange a babysitter even when Jason, 38, was scheduled to be at home with their children. (The couple shares daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 3, and Finn, who turns one on Monday, March 30.)

“How do I say this right? No,” Kylie said during the first episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast. “When I have to do something — coaching, something for the Eagles Autism Foundation, something for my podcast, a doctor’s appointment even — I’ll schedule childcare. My husband can tell me 72 times that he’s going to be home when I have to leave, [and] I will still plan to take care of the children.”

Kylie added that their schedule is unpredictable now that Jason has retired from the NFL, so it’s hard to know when he’ll be able to watch the kids.

After the episode aired, critics online criticized Kylie for appearing to not allow Jason to watch their children.

“Tell me you don’t trust your husband, without telling him you don’t,” the Instagram user commented in a podcast clip at the time.

Another added, “It’s really sad that a young man can’t give birth to his own children.”

Addressing the criticism on Wednesday, Kylie continued, “It was taken out of context because people were saying, ‘You can’t let Jason watch your kids.’ And I’m like, ‘What do you mean, let him watch the kids? They are his children.’ I don’t let him do anything. They went his way.”

Kylie then repeated her original explanation for hiring a babysitter.

“When I started the podcast and we were talking about this, which is when I said it, Jason was on ESPN football season,” he said. “He had a lot of other things going on where his schedule was, and still is, chaotic, but not nearly as much. It was like no structure was happening.”
