Most Short-Lived TV Shows – Including Those Canceled Before Airing

Not all TV shows have been a success story – with some projects being canceled before the episodes aired.

NBC The Playboy Club aired only three episodes in 2011 before the show was canceled. The network cited low ratings as the reason for the decision to cancel the show, which was eventually replaced Rock Center With Brian Williams and repeats episodes of Maria Bello‘s The Chief Suspect.

“We are excited about the way both shows have been created and the opportunity for them to continue to build loyal viewers in the coming months,” NBC Entertainment Chairman.
