The Bachelorette’s Taylor Reacts to Being Told to ‘Stop’ on the Phone

Taylor, who has been dating 33-year-old Dakota on and off since 2023, has been named the season 22 Bachelorette in the fall of 2025. Just before he went to film the show, he met Dakota.

About two months after The The Bachelorette wrapped in December 2025, news broke in February that local Utah police were called to Taylor’s home after an alleged altercation with Dakota. During the open investigation, a video was released by TMZ of Taylor throwing a chair at Dakota with daughter Indy. (Taylor shares Indy, 8, and Ocean, 5, with ex-husband Father Paul.)

After the video was released, ABC canceled Taylor’s The Bachelorette days of the season before its Sunday, March 22, premiere.

Dakota denied the allegations about his behavior.

Although Taylor has not yet addressed the situation, she noted in the comments section that he “still [has] work” obligations to be fulfilled.
