The decision to film their lives came easy to Utah-based content creators MomTok — but the same can’t be said for their diverse partners. Taylor faced head-on the negative consequences of filming her relationship when the season 1 premiere ended with footage of her arrest for domestic violence.

In the years since documenting their relationship on the show, Taylor and Dakota have faced many challenges. Days after season 4 premiered on Hulu in March 2026, news broke that Mormon Wives was allegedly halting production after Taylor and Dakota were involved in a domestic violence dispute during filming.

Throughout the seasons, Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen have been stepping out regularly while breastfeeding their son, Ever.
