Below Deck Down Under’s Daisy Reveals Ben Lives In Guest Cabins

Below Deck Down Under‘s Daisy Kelliher called Ben Robinson i will stay in the guest cabins – but was the cook allowed to stay there?

“This season in the galley are my biggest challenges [had to do with Ben],” Daisy said to herself Us Weekly ahead of the show’s return on Monday, February 2. “Ben is a fun person to work with. He’s really fun, he’s got a great personality and he’s TV. But he’s definitely a challenge.”

Daisy acknowledged the similarities between her and Ben.

“Maybe we’re both stubborn,” he commented. “[Our issues were] kind of all those things. It was the guest house, it was the way he managed his team and the way he ran his ship. There have been difficulties in communication – therefore timing and visualizing the service in the same way. In fact, there were many difficulties and challenges.”

Despite their problems, Daisy said that Ben is “a hard person to stay mad at,” adding, “But neither of us wanted animosity, and I think we both really wanted to give the best to the guests. Since that was our main goal, we could always go back to that and be like, ‘Okay, look, we love each other. We have the same goal. How can we make this happen?'”

He continued: “But I think towards the end of the season, I was frustrated. We have a few arguments, and there are arguments there. It’s difficult because I was trying to do a good job – like him. It was all a challenge to be honest.”

The season 4 trailer surprised viewers with Daisy accusing Ben of “living in guest houses.” While talking to UsHe explained the story, saying, “In fact, it was every night.”

Daisy remembered that she had to “pick” her battles with Ben.

“I let it go [Captain] Jason [Chambers] it’s like, ‘Let it go and pick your battles.’ There were many other things going on. It was like a small argument, but I guess I didn’t let it go and he wasn’t going to let it go, “He’s taking the guest dress, but he’s doing it to annoy me and he’s making it his own. As you’ll see throughout the season, he wears it over the boat to finish me off. So, of course, I can’t let it go. I think he’s been doing things to push my buttons all season.”

“I went into this season taking no prisoners. I knew what I wanted. I didn’t want to be fooled, so I went in with that mindset,” teased Daisy in November 2025. “Ben challenged me and he’s not easy to work with.”

Daisy has appreciated her time with Ben despite the challenges, she said Us eventually lead to a good relationship.

“I think he also respected me. Therefore, I think I really emerged as a big stew and as a person – and it was not easy. I don’t like to argue, but I need it. I was very sure of what I wanted to achieve,” he said at the time. “I was like, ‘I’m not going to let any member of the team get in the way of what I’m trying to do this season.’ We bump into each other and it’s work [drama]. Now, I was drinking with him at the bar.”

Recently, Daisy thought she might work with Ben again.

“It’s always difficult, if you had asked me nine months ago, I would have said no.” But now the time has passed,” he added. “I would like to. Ben is a great chef – whether he’s going to work with me or not. We finished the season and made some great tips. It wouldn’t be a show if we weren’t at each other’s throats.”
