HBO Max has one of the deepest libraries among the major broadcasters, thanks to a list of films dating back to the beginning of cinema.
But even if you prefer the latest films, HBO Max has a large number of films from the 21st century, including blockbuster hits.
This month, Watch Us picks three new HBO Max movies you need to watch in March, as rated by IMDb.
Our picks include a controversial crime film, one of the first horror films and a film that still feels timely in 2026.
‘Spring Breakers’ (2013)

Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens again Ashley Benson they were all looking to rock their Disney Channel and Freeform cute girl pictures when they came in to check in Spring breakers. This crime comedy has become a cult classic, and is wild even by today’s standards. The story follows four college students, Faith (Gomez), Candy (Hudgens), Brit (Benson) and Cotty (Rachel Korine) as they decide to do anything to get to spring, even if it means breaking the law.
Even armed robbery is not too far for these girls to go, but they end up in hot water for their unruly antics. A drug dealer called Alien (James Franco) takes the opportunity to free the girls and exploit them while they are in danger. Alien may talk a good game, but he needs girls more than he needs her, especially when his enemies come calling. When this spring break is over, these women may not have a home to return to.

“The Bride of Frankenstein” (1935)

With The Bride! in theaters, it’s worth bringing HBO Max back with it Bride of Frankensteinsequel Frankenstein movie ever made. Boris Karloff he reprises his role as Frankenstein’s Monster, and is even better the second time in the role. In a glimpse from the end of the original film, both the monster and Henry Frankenstein (Colin Clive) survive, although Henry now completely abandons his incomplete creation.
While Henry was with his wife, Elizabeth Frankenstein (Valerie Hobson), the monster has no one to love until Frankenstein’s mentor, Doctor Pretorius ((Ernest Thesiger)it finds the creature and convinces it to participate in the new test. With the help of the monster, Pretorius builds a body for the Bride (Elsa Lanchester), but they will need Henry’s help to complete the experiment, whether he wants it or not.

‘V for Vendetta’ (2006)

If you’ve seen people wearing Guy Fawkes masks during protests, it’s because of a cult film V for Vendetta and the Alan Moore comic book that inspired it. In the near future, the United Kingdom has fallen into a brutal and fascist regime that suppresses opposition at all times. Everyone who represents the kingdom ends up dead, except for V (Hugo Weaving). The masked vigilante Guy Fawkes never shows his face, and he has grand plans to spark a revolution.
Natalie Portman and stars in the film as Evey Hammond, a young woman whose life is saved by V. Still, Evey isn’t sure she can trust V no matter what his intentions are. But once Evey is in V’s life, there’s no going back.
