INTERMEDIATE: Alexander Ludwig, an actor known for his work in projects like The Vikings, The Hunger Gamesagain Heelsstep behind the camera Buildingsan indie healthcare drama that marks his directorial debut, in which he co-stars with Carla Gugino (Adventures of Cliff Booth), Grace Beedie (Zero DatingTaylor Hickson (Deadpool) and James Jordan (Yellowstone).
Developed and produced by Enderby Entertainment, as part of its Enderby Impact slate, Buildings centers on a young girl (Beedie) battling cystic fibrosis whose fragile stability is disrupted when her access to health care and life-sustaining medication is suddenly cut off. With the clock ticking and lives on the line, his brother Easton (Ludwig) is forced to confront the broken system – and eventually take it upon himself to rob pharmacies for the drugs to keep his sister alive, underscoring the sad and unforgiving realities of modern American healthcare.
Ludwig co-wrote the script alongside Hunter Maats. Rick Dugdale of Enderby Entertainment (Intrigo, The Common Man), Sharlene Ludwig, and Stephanie Simon are producing, with Preston Cook co-producing.
In a statement to Deadline, Ludwig shared, “This story really touched me because it’s not a fairy tale for many families – it’s true. Buildings it’s not just a movie, it’s a conversation we need to have — it can move people to action.”

Along with their film career, Buildings‘ the founding team hopes to make a real-world impact with the launch of a companion resource website, BillingsForAmerica.com, designed to help Americans better understand and navigate the US health care system, including access to critical medications and information aimed at supporting families facing similar issues.
