2026 Truist Championship Thursday TV Coverage: Watch Round 1

How to watch the Truist Championship on Thursday
The second major of the year, the 2026 PGA Championship at Aronimink, is just one week away. But first, many of the PGA Tour’s top players will battle for a $3.6 million winner’s share in the second consecutive Signature Event.
The Truist Championship officially returns to Quail Hollow on Thursday morning, when World No. 2 where Rory McIlroy will begin his quest for PGA Tour victory No. 31. McIlroy will once again prepare his game for a run at his second consecutive major win next week.
McIlroy will face a small but strong field from Thursday at Truist, with hot Cameron Young and equally hot Matt Fitzpatrick showing no signs of fear in recent weeks.
Other famous Tour pros like Rickie Fowler, Jordan Spieth and Xander Schauffele are also in the field this week.
McIlroy will enter Thursday’s opening round at 11:33 a.m. ET along with Fitzpatrick and Justin Rose.
You can watch the first round of the Truist Championship on TV with the Golf Channel starting at 2pm ET on Thursday. PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will offer exclusive early coverage beginning Thursday at 7:30 a.m. ET, along with featured team and hole features throughout the day. The GOLF App will host a live broadcast of the Golf Channel TV.
