Cooper DeJean apparently left the famous Philadelphia Eagles-Dallas Cowboys rivalry on the gridiron after attending 2026 Kentucky Derby alongside the Cowboys cheerleader Abby Summers.
DeJean, 23, walked the red carpet at Churchill Downs on Saturday, May 2, with a group of four friends. The professional athlete, fittingly, wore a pale green suit and lilac sunglasses for the event, standing next to DCC’s Summers, 25, I am in awe of the floral sleeveless sun dress and the big hat.
The rival cheerleader also captured behind-the-scenes photos of the couple getting ready before they hit the runway.
“Derby timeeeee,” said Summers TikTok video, in which he and DeJean pose for cameras while a bug plays in the background.
At one point in the video, the NFL star wrapped his arm around Summers.
The sweet upload quickly sparked dating speculations from fans and fellow dancers alike.
“Derby Day is called hard launch day 🐎💘💫 Cuteeee,” DCC vet Kleine Powell replied in the comment section, while Charlie Barby he added, “AAAAAHHHHHHH😍😍.”

While Summers’ apparent connection with DeJean earned approval from his team, some fans scoffed at the NFL’s long-running and often contested rivalry.
“A modern day romeo and juliet,” said one fan, as another wrote, “dcc with the eagles is actually a fan fiction.”
Neither DeJean nor Summers have discussed their relationship status publicly. Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for both athletes for comment.
DeJean has dated before Steph Wilfawnwho was by his side when the Eagles won the 2025 Super Bowl.
“He was a trooper,” she said on the “Pivot” podcast. in February 2025 after winning the tournament. “He has a lot to manage, a lot to deal with, but he has always been there, I met him in college so he was helping me, which I appreciate, and I need it. [her] during this difficult time.”
He continued at the time, “My phone has been blowing up especially after the Super Bowl. [of] everything that happens – being tagged in a crowd of things and things like that. But he was a trooper. He was helping me so I appreciate him for that.”
