William Daniels Thanks His Fans Ahead of 99th Birthday

William Daniels credits fans for helping her feel rejuvenated ahead of her milestone 99th birthday.

“It’s hard to believe that I will be 99 years old tomorrow!” i Boy Meets World alum, 98, wrote about X on Monday, March 30, alongside his video. “I’m very grateful that staying in touch with my fans has been fulfilling over the years.”

Daniels added that even though he’s “taking a break from touring” and can’t make it to in-person events, he’s still available to connect with fans online. The actor shared that he is available to make fan videos via Cameo.

“Over the years, I’ve enjoyed connecting with fans and friends through cameos and events. Thank you for keeping me young,” he joked in the video. “Go ahead! Class is dismissed.”

Daniels became famous for playing Mark Craig in the show St. In another place from 1982 to 1988. However, his notable role was as Mr. Feeny Boy Meets World. Daniels played a sitcom on the side Ben Savage, Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong again Is Fridle seven seasons.

Although Mr. Fan favorite of Boy Meets World, Daniels previously revealed that he almost turned down the role.

“I asked for a meeting [with showrunner Michael Jacobs] because I said no and he wanted to know why,” Daniels recalled during a July 2022 appearance on “Pod Meets World,” hosted by Fishel, Strong and Friedle. I respect them and they are. [under]paid for and all that.’ He then told me where my role is based, who was his mentor when he was in high school.”

He continued, “I was scared [Feeny] it can be a joke, [but then] I saw that the plot was going to be written with respect.”

Since Boy Meets World ended in 2000, Daniels has remained close to his clients over the years. Daniels and his wife Bonnie Bartlett have a reunion with Fishel, Strong and Friedle in June 2024.

“Just a little meeting with my favorite students!!” said the group photo.

When Fishel was competing Dancing with the Stars season 34 last year, Daniels cheered him on and made a brief cameo in a game dedicated to him.

“I don’t think I would be the coach I am [without William Daniels],” explained Fishel in a confessional book.” This dance is for you, Mr. Feeny. Thank you for always showing up even when the cameras stop rolling.”
