The source continued, “It’s surprising that she chose to use the Queen’s name to defend herself. No one is sure if the truth of her predicament has hit home.”

The incident reportedly escalated when the son of Queen Elizabeth II, 66, said he “doesn’t want to go.”

Andrew’s attorney did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The move came about because of Andrew’s relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who died in prison in 2019 at the age of 66.

A few weeks after his deportation, Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office while serving as a British trade ambassador.

He is accused of sharing confidential trade documents with Epstein.

If convicted, the former Duke of York could face prison terms. Andrew has previously denied wrongdoing, although his relationship with Epstein has long been known.

After the arrest, Andrew’s brother, King Charles, shared his “deep concern” about the allegations.

He was seen panicking as he tried to hide in the back seat of a car leaving Aylsham Police Station in the United Kingdom.
