Fitness promoter Stephanie Buttermore he died tragically in March 2026 at the age of 36.
“It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of Jeff’s fiancée and partner of 10 years, Stephanie,” a social media statement from a spokesperson for Buttermore’s boyfriend, Jeff Nippardlearn. As many of you know, Stephanie meant the world to Jeff.
The statement continued, “She will be remembered for her warmth and compassion, her love for her family and her Ph.D research on ovarian cancer. We kindly ask for privacy as we deal with this tragic loss. Thank you for your understanding and support during this difficult time.”
The cause of death was not immediately released for Buttermore, who became engaged to bodybuilder Nippard in 2022 after six years of dating.

Stephanie Buttermore Researched Ovarian Cancer
Long before Stephanie Buttermore started posting on social media, she got her Ph. D and worked as a cancer scientist.
“I received my Ph.D. in pathology and cell biology focusing on the molecular mechanisms that cause the progression of ovarian cancer,” reads the biography on her YouTube page. “I mix science and fitness in all aspects of life. I’m currently doing cancer research but I LOVE working out and eating good food.”
Stephanie Buttermore Was a Proud Advocate of Fitness
Stephanie Buttermore has always been proud of her body – no matter what size it is.
“I heard every fat-phobic slur under the sun when I got fat,” Buttermore wrote on Instagram in March 2023, alongside several photos of her swimming. “But, you know, I look back at these pictures like DAMNNN … I was HAWWWT 🔥.”
He added, “The feeling of ‘F the haters’ has never worked for me personally. I mean, I wish it did, it would make life so much easier. I prefer to focus on myself, my goals and give my energy to those who deserve it.”
Months later, Buttermore announced on social media that she felt “very happy and comfortable” in her own skin.
“I can live my life by eating sensibly and my body feels naturally stable here,” he captioned a caption uploaded in May 2023.

“We started to feel like best friends because we built a foundation of shared interests and values from the beginning,” Nippard said on Instagram at the time. “We grew together as we learned from each other, we traveled the world together, we always supported each other, and we used the power couple equation to build each other up in many different ways.”
Stephanie Buttermore Took Social Media Hiatus Before Her Death
Stephanie Buttermore took a step back from posting content on Instagram in the years leading up to her death.
“My mental health has been the best it’s ever been,” Buttermore commented in a May 2024 Instagram post about his online hiatus. “I no longer struggle with anxiety at all. It was almost crippling a few years ago to the point where I felt like I couldn’t breathe or leave my house. Now I don’t really care if people like what I post or talk bad about me.”
Leaving Instagram behind also allowed Buttermore to focus on her relationships.
“When I’m with my family or Jeff, I’m really immersed in that moment,” he said. “I take pictures to preserve memories and not because I will include them in my story, I have never been caught not listening to someone because I look at comments, I am in a better mood because I am not worried, family time is family time.”
