“January 23, 2021, it’s coming. That’s the day Cody and I met,” Nogueira recalled in a social media video in January 2022. Hawken went to Nogueira’s apartment and they ordered dinner together. “He had this crazy energy that was full of love and happiness,” Nogueira said, noting that he had never been in love before. The two talked for “hours,” and he even helped build her furniture.

Within a year of dating, Nogueira and Hawken announced their engagement. He shared the story behind his proposal on TikTok days after he got down on one knee.

Cody entered rehab following a relapse. Nogueira opened up about the situation on TikTok. “For the past few months, Cody hasn’t been around and now you know why,” she said, noting that he had struggled with addiction since he was “very young.”
“To be honest, recovery is not linear. Relapse is part of the recovery process. In January 2024, my husband relapsed into drugs. In April 2024, my husband relapsed into alcoholism,” Nogueira said.
He revealed that he was putting on a “brave face” throughout 2024. He also revealed that he got his own house because “he wouldn’t be near it.”

Nogueira shared that Hawken came home from rehab and assured him that “everything is going to be okay.”

Nogueira continued, “We can literally do anything to each other. I want you to know that,” he continued. “I’m not going to have any details about why Cody and I made this decision. The main reason why I did it is because I want to protect Cody. Cody deserves that.”
Nogueira also said, “He and I were together for five years, married for two years. And some of the best memories of my life. Memories that I will remember forever. And I don’t regret a single thing.”
