What Bill Maher Asked Kid Rock After Doing the Dueling Bad Bunny Halftime Show

In a statement released before the Super Bowl, Kid Rock expressed his excitement at the opportunity to challenge the NFL during its premier event.

He also addressed the NFL’s decision to have Bad Bunny headline its Super Bowl halftime show.
“You said you’re having a dance party, you’re wearing a dress, and you’re singing in Spanish? It’s cool. We’re planning to play good songs that people love about America,” said Kid Rock.

His widow, Erika Kirkshe explained in an interview with Fox News before the Super Bowl that the event will serve as a way to honor her husband’s memory.
“It is powerful because something that Charlie always loved and always knew was that he wanted to be at the forefront of the culture war,” he said. “He’s going to be throwing punches at this. He’s going to be very angry. And what better way to honor him than to come in the middle of this and be able to give to other families.”
