The husband of ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Jessi Draper Ngatikuara is filing for divorce

Jessi Draper Ngatikuara’s husband, Jordan Ngatikuara, filed for divorce Thursday in Utah, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.
Per TMZ, Jordan, who has been married to Jessi for five years, said, “This was not an easy decision and it comes with a heavy heart.
“Although our paths are now going in different directions, my priority is still my children and making sure they feel loved, supported and secure in this transition.”
“I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect. I kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we examine this as a family,” he concluded.
Page Six tried to reach Jessi, but she didn’t hear back right away.
The former couple, who share a son and daughter together – as well as Jordan’s daughter from a previous relationship – have gone through tough times and many breakups since marrying in 2020. Season 4 of the reality show documented that they are working on their marriage following a 90-day breakup in 2025.
Jessi told people in November 2025 that before this separation she was emotionally abused by Jordan, who she says started after they were married.
“Right after it started happening, I said, ‘Oh, this isn’t normal,’ but then again, you get used to it. It starts slowly. It’s not like one big thing happens. Small behaviors over time, and suddenly you look back and you’re so deep in it and you can’t do much about it,” he told the newspaper.
Jessi appeared unfazed on social media on Thursday, posting a series of selfies from just one day ago while she was clearly still wearing her ring. On Thursday, her Instagram Stories showed her dancing in practice with “Dancing With the Stars” producer Sasha Farber.
The divorce filing comes after a difficult time for the “SLOMW” cast. Co-star Taylor Frankie Paul halted production of its Season 5 last week amid an investigation into the release of a disturbing video from 2023 showing the reality star throwing a chair at ex Dakota Mortensen during a domestic violence incident.
Paul was also set to appear on Season 22 of “The Bachelorette,” but the ABC network also called it off, saying “We have decided not to move forward with a new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and focus on supporting the family.”
