Disneyland Lets Attic Brides Get Married in Haunted Mansion – Men Watch Out! – The Mercury News

Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion will soon serve as a spooky new wedding venue for brides looking for a haunted place filled with tales of gore, horror and murder to exchange their wedding vows and start their happily ever after.

Disneyland will begin offering weddings in July for the first time in front of the Haunted Mansion starting at $25,000 to $40,000, according to the official Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons website.

Walt Disney Imagineering has recently revived the history of the Haunted Mansion by turning the attic bride Constance Hatchway from the ax murderer who beheaded her rich husbands for their wealth into a bride who is dying for the loss of her husbands and full of great fear of lost love.

The new Haunted Mansion Courtyard wedding venue joins more than a dozen venues already located throughout the Disneyland resort.

The Haunted Mansion Courtyard wedding venue can be booked for early morning events before Disneyland opens for party sizes of up to 25 guests. The $25,000 to $40,000 wedding package includes officiant, decor and photography at prices that vary depending on the day of the week.

The price goes up quickly from there with a dinner for 25 guests ($4,125 to $5,250), floral and floral arrangements ($7,500), Mickey and Minnie appearances ($2,750) and Crystal Coach rental ($4,500) all handled in-house by Disney wedding planners.

That doesn’t include live music, a staffed or cash bar and a custom wedding cake designed by Disneyland’s pastry chefs.

Couples interested in a Haunted Mansion themed wedding can also get married inside the Haunted Mansion Parlor aboard the new Disney Destiny ship starting May 14.

Disneyland recently added the Magnolia Park Gazebo and Magnolia Park Terrace next to the Haunted Mansion to a park wedding venue lineup that already includes the Fantasy Faire Garden, Small World Mall and the Disney Animation Building.
