Donald Trump Jr.’s fiancee, Bettina Anderson, has joined her daughter, Kai, in using the White House as a hotbed for luxury goods.
The Palm Beach actress shared a selfie on her Instagram Story, showing her standing in front of a gold-framed mirror in the bathroom Lincoln remodeled, The Daily Beast reported. He is wearing taupe colored trousers and pants. In true influencer fashion, Anderson shared a link with Oriane, a pants designer, whose “Shop My” profile shows retail for $780.
It seems that Anderson, 39, took this photo while in Washington, DC, delivering President Trump’s State of the Union address on Tuesday, the Daily Beast reported. You may have visited the residence, the Lincoln Bedroom and its newly renovated bathroom, or he and Trump Jr. they were invited to stay there. The president took on the challenge of renovating the bathroom, which he unveiled on Halloween to show it off with gold fixtures and “Mar-a-Lago-esque,” white and black marble almost everywhere, The Daily Beast reported.
Anderson, who became engaged to Trump’s oldest son in December, also enjoyed sitting in the House chamber as Trump delivered his nearly two-hour long SOTU speech. He lived with members of the Trump family, between Jared Kushner and Lara Trump and behind the siblings, Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka Trump.
At one point, there was a question about whether Anderson would be accepted into the Trump family, following anonymous complaints to the Daily Mail and other outlets that he could be a social climber. Anderson and Trump Jr., 48, reportedly began dating in the summer of 2024, while he was still officially engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle, 56, a former Fox News anchor, a top fundraiser for Trump’s presidential campaign and the current U.S. ambassador to Greece.
Meanwhile, Anderson’s pantsuiting is the latest example of a member of the extended Trump family using government property for photo shoots to promote clothing and other products. In September, Kai Trump, the president’s star golfing grandson, used various locations in the White House for photos to market his expensive new line of shirts.
The 18-year-old Internet celebrity, daughter of Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa Trump, unveiled his line of shirts in a promotional video and photos that were played on the lawn and in other settings around the White House.
Kai Trump also faced criticism from Taylor Swift fans about the logo on her dress — a monogram that combines her initials, “KT.” These fans thought his logo was a dead giveaway of the “TK” logo that Travis Kelce has on his clothing line with the American Eagles Tru Colors.
The question of whether Kai Trump’s photo crossed the line of ethics was a topic of debate in September. Anderson’s photo will likely stimulate similar questions.
