Tiger Woods Mugshot Revealed After DUI Charge, Car Crash

Tiger Woods‘ was released after being charged with DUI following a motor vehicle collision.

The photo, released on Friday, March 27, shows the golfer wearing a blue shirt and staring seriously at the camera as his photo is taken.

Earlier on Friday, news emerged that Woods, 50, was involved in an accident that occurred on Jupiter Island, Florida, shortly after 2 p.m. According to a press conference held by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, authorities responded to the scene and found a truck pulling a pressure washer and a Land Rover driven by Woods that had rolled onto its side.

“The driver of [the pickup truck] he looked in his mirror and saw a black Land Rover speeding past him,” Sheriff John Budensiek said at the time. “He tried to go to the side of the road, but this is a small two-lane road and there was no shoulder for the pressure cleaner to get off the side of the road. When he tried to go to the side of the road, the Land Rover caught up to him at the last minute, swerved to avoid a collision, but clipped the back of the car.”

Woods managed to crawl out of his Land Rover through the passenger side window unharmed. However, authorities believe the driver of the Land Rover may have been impaired, and called DUI investigators to the scene.

“Mr. Woods gave an example of signs of disability. They did several tests. He explained the injuries and surgeries he had. We took that into account,” said the police in a press conference, referring to Woods’ October 2025 procedure to repair a collapsed lumbar disc.

Photos from the scene show the car overturned and sitting upright on the side of the road, with visible damage to the body.

The golfer completed a breathalyzer test that resulted in “three zeros.” However, Woods “refused” a urine test. Woods was subsequently arrested and charged with DUI, vandalism and resisting a legal test. Us Weekly reached out to Woods’ attorney for comment.

“We know we arrested a high-profile person … but it doesn’t matter who he is. If you break the law, we’re going to follow the law. That’s a really easy way,” Budensiek said of arresting Woods during a press conference.

Budensiek continued, “Regarding being in prison, we will make sure that he is safe, we will not put him in the general public, he will not live with other prisoners who may harm him or try to take advantage of what he has done.
