Steve-O Faces Criticism Over Immigrant Comments

Do you know Steve-O, the famous veteran of the Jackass franchise, where dozens of action sports athletes and stunt performers perform dangerous stunts and extreme challenges.
Steve-O (real name Stephen Glover) was one of the richest people in the group. And after several TV shows, dozens of movies, and a public struggle with drug abuse, Steve-O has a podcast where he has honest conversations with celebrities – sometimes too honest.
In the episode of Feb. 3 cut Steve-O’s Wild Ride, Steve-O had an interview with Canadian actor and comedian Harland Williams that left the internet “disgusted and really disappointed.”
When Harland pressed Steve-O to talk about politics, it became apparent that perhaps he should have left the subject alone. I Half Baked the star explained why he is not afraid of ICE (from Canada), and bragged about how he got his citizenship. “I don’t care if you’re from Canada, China, Russia, Mexico, whatever, there’s a process, and I’ve done it… If I make a mistake and get caught, I’ll have the balls to say, ‘Okay, you got me. I’m going home,'” Harland explained. “But I will not start doing that because I respect the borders of all countries.”
Steve-O then asked, “Why are so many people who don’t have the same respect you have murderers?,” to which Harland asked, “Say that again?”
Steve-O then said, “Most of these illegals in America, it’s like most of them are murderers.”
“No, that’s a lie. That’s a big lie,” Harland replied.
Then, Steve-O added, “They’re bad hombres,” referring to President Trump’s negative statement during the 2016 presidential debate about border security.
Harland tried to use statistics to refute Steve-O’s claim, to which he replied, “Well, that’s fine. But a lot of them smuggle fentanyl.”
The chat clip is growing, and people aren’t too happy to hear these offensive words from Steve-O, the guy who used to set fireworks up on TV.
“Steve-O isn’t talking ‘politics’ in this clip. He’s racist and trolling white people,” wrote one Reddit user. “This tension has nothing to do with politics. When he talks about illegal people, murderers and fentanyl dealers, he doesn’t mean Ukrainians, South Africans or Europeans, he’s talking about black people. You have to stop painting these ridiculous people as poor souls who don’t understand politics. He has full knowledge, he knows what he’s talking about, he’s racist.”
“No wonder Steve-o says something stupid that he only thinks about because someone told him something he didn’t do any research on,” said another person.
This person said, “The guy who lived by getting bruises all the time is an uneducated racist? I’m shocked!”
“People who talk like that are useful idiots who feed off bad information from their bosses,” one user wrote. “They don’t look at anything, they just say what they are told. Repeated propaganda.”
“Damn Steve O, you’re disgusting,” one person wrote, while another said, “Full circle back to being a clown, but not a good one at that. Fu*k, I’ve lost all my respect,” referring to Steve-O’s previous career as a clown.
