‘The View’ host Alyssa Farah Griffin has given birth to her first child with husband Justin

Alyssa Farah Griffin is enjoying the view as a new mother.
The 36-year-old gave birth to her first child with husband Justin Griffin, who welcomed a boy.
Whoopi Goldberg made the announcement on “The View” on Wednesday, saying, “The first thing we want to do is congratulate Alyssa and her husband Justin on the birth of their baby boy.
He noted that the youngest came in at seven pounds and 19.5 inches.
Alyssa was not on the show Tuesday, with Goldberg telling viewers that she is “in the hospital right now” and undergoing surgery.
“We wish her the best as she waits for her baby boy to arrive,” said Goldberg. “Wonderful! That child is welcome!”
Alyssa revealed her bump in October 2025, revealing her February due date in an Instagram post.
“Baby boy Griffin is coming,” she wrote at the time.
When she shared her pregnancy news with viewers that day, Alyssa gushed, “I’m so glad I don’t have to hide anymore. I can breathe!”
Alyssa gave Justin, 37, a shout-out on air as “the most supportive husband in the world.”
He continued, “I am very happy, I did IVF, it was difficult, it took us a year, it took us five cycles, but [my son is in] here. He is coming.”
Alyssa spoke to People further about her in vitro fertilization journey, noting that she was diagnosed with endometriosis during the process.
“I didn’t get it all my life,” the political analyst told the media. “So that just adds to the problems.”
Alyssa went on to clarify that she and Justin want to eventually have two children, starting with a boy because he “always liked the idea of being a brother who takes care of his younger siblings.”
She added, “I am very happy to be a mother of a boy, although I will be more at home because we have two male dogs.”
Alyssa and Justin’s years-long relationship ended briefly in 2020 — until a “frustrated” ABC insider posted a “sweet beach photo,” she revealed on “The View” in 2023.
“He called me the next day and we got back together in a few days,” he boasted. “Let them know what they’re missing. … I love a good thirst trap.”
Justin got down on one knee in July 2020.
The couple went down the aisle in November of the following year in Vero Beach, Fla.
As they celebrated their fourth anniversary on Instagram, Alyssa called Justin her “favorite person in the world.”
