The Price Is Right Doc: Big Bombs Revealed

The price is right it may not have been all fun and games for a long time.

On Wednesday, March 18, the premiere of the Dirty Rotten Scandals: The Price Is Right, several former models came forward to share their experiences working on them Bob Barkergame show.

“I wanted to wait until Bob left because I knew he was going to come in and deny everything,” Holly Hallstrom shared on the film’s E! with two parts. “But I was there. I heard what was said. … For years, Bob Barker controlled this story. But that ends today.”

Before Barker death in August 2023 at the age of 99, the TV personality held the microphone and served as the host of The price is right from 1972 to 2007.Drew Carey (he currently hosts the show, which still airs new episodes on CBS.)

In Dirty Rotten Scandals: The Price Is Rightseveral models – previously called “Barker’s Beauties” – posed for a photo of a set that contained everything from alleged affairs to allegations of sexual harassment.

‘The Price Is Right’ Boob Job Model Ask

In accordance with Holly Hallstromproducers wanted to put models in bathing suits “every chance they got.”

“They wanted to remind us that we were bystanders so we would never feel safe,” Hallstrom said. “The producers would call us every week and say, ‘We’d like to use you this week,’ like, we were weekly contract actors when in reality, we were a big part of the show.”

At one point, Hallstrom blamed that producer Frank Wayne – who died in 1988 – came to her and said, “We really need a model who can fill a bathing suit. I would advise you to use your leave wisely.”

What did that mean?

“Which meant I had to go get the breast implants, and I had to pay for them myself,” Hallstrom said. “They could have done that then.”

‘The Price Is Right’ Model Gets Damaged

In the documentary, the stage manager Robert Cisneros he recalled the story of being backstage when the announcer started asking the contestants to come down.

As the cameras started rolling, Cisneros said “some guy hit his camera again [model] Janice [Pennington] he happened to be standing there. There is a ledge and a 3-foot work. … He passed. People started crying.”

According to Cisneros, Bob Barker said that the show must go ahead and that filming should resume immediately after the horrific injury.

The ‘Price Is Right’ Model Alleges Racial Discrimination

As the first ever black open model The price is right, Kathleen Bradley he said he heard – and saw – a lot on set.

The ‘Price is Right’ 10-Second Rule

“No one was monitoring how long the boys were staring at the models,” said Holly Hallstrom when she confirmed the rule. “It was a joke, it was appeasement. They do things that make it look like they are standing up for you so you will stop complaining and go.”

Bob Barker Suspects ‘The Price Is Right’ Model

At the end of the first part Dirty Rotten SecretsBob Barker’s love affair with a model Diane Parkinson it was tested for a long time.

“Dian confided in me, ‘Did you know I see Bob Barker?’ I was really surprised because Bob had a girlfriend,” said Kathleen Bradley. “As time went on, people realized how close Bob and Dian were. … It wasn’t really a secret for a long time.”

Afterwards, Hallstrom said he was “cut from at least 50 percent of the show.” He was later let go from the show.

The ‘Price is Right’ Time-Closing Model

“I found out from the guards that when I entered the area, they had to report it [a producer] When I arrived,” said Jordan, “the security guard said, ‘I think [the producer] put the clocks forward so you look like you’re drunk,’ it got worse.”

Jordan said the same producer inappropriately contacted him. He also suspected that Barker was biased against the man he worked with.

“When that happened, I knew Bob was the enemy,” said Claudia. “He doesn’t have my back.”

‘The Price Is Right’ Discontinues The Model

In this two-part film, Claudia Jordan remembered enough time and decided to come out.

“At the end of every show, the model comes out with a microphone and greets the audience,” recalls Claudia. “I got the microphone and said, ‘I want to say something. I can’t do this anymore. …. I’m going to miss this, but this is my last day.’

The next day, he found the same attorney who was working on Holly Hallstrom’s case and filed his own suit. (Bob Barker previously sued Hallstrom for libel and defamation but dropped the case 48 hours before the trial. Hallstrom later sued for wrongful termination and malicious prosecution. According to the doctor, he won his case.)

Jordan sued for sexual harassment and racial discrimination in 2004. According to Jordan, “the production company settled with me out of court.”
