Xander Schauffele hopes 2026 is a big year. Although Schauffele won the Baycurrent Classic in October, he failed to win a PGA Tour event during the regular season. As a result, he did not even qualify for the Tour Championship.

Heading into this week’s Valspar Championship, Schauffele looks very sharp. The two-time major champion has finished in the top 10 in his last three starts, and he’s been important. First, he earned a T7 at the Genesis Invitational, a Signature Event. Then last week, he entered the competition and finished alone in third at the 2026 Players Championship.

Schauffele now has a chance to return to the winner’s circle (and continue preparing for the 2026 Masters) at the Copperhead Course.
