Ali Larter is 50, fabulous and fashionable as ever. The actor recently celebrated his milestone birthday in the Bahamas with his loved ones and shared photos of the tropical getaway on Instagram. Naturally, a series of bikini photos got us ogling Larter’s impressive abs (courtesy of Brooke Wyndham’s fitness regime, perhaps?), but it was the strapless little dress she wore for the night that got us excited for summer.
In a photo posted to her Instagram story, Larter flashed a precious smile while wearing an expensive dress. Always generous with his designer labels, Larter praised the strapless mini as Ramy Brook’s original. The Orion style is described as a satin mini dress with a strapless design and a tie-front bodice. It costs $495. Luckily, we found the Amazon version for half the price.

The Boriflors mini dress has the same sweetheart bodice and tie front for Larter’s outgoing look. However, the latter has a relaxed fit, while the Amazon dress is bodycon with a keyhole cutout that shows more skin. In addition, the Orion dress is made of stretch satin, which may have contributed to its increased price. Amazon’s version is made of a spandex blend and costs just $24 (with free shipping for Prime members).
Look at us as we have a little moment to wear white, this style of dress is made for special occasions. If you know you’ll only wear it once or twice a season, choosing a budget-friendly version over an investment splurge makes more sense. In addition, Larter’s dress comes in two colors (Ivory Ivory and Fiesta Pink). The Amazon variant comes in seven colors, from bright white to royal green and vibrant purple.
If you’re in doubt about what a dress under $25 can offer you, the consensus among customers is that a dress that’s one-of-a-kind is made to exceed their expectations.
