In this clip, the TV host said that he started beating his ex because he allegedly threw her on the ground.

The clip was recorded before Paul’s arrest in 2023, when he was charged with three counts, including aggravated assault and domestic violence in the presence of a child. He was also charged with child abuse and criminal mischief.

In a statement to Page Six, the reality star said the video “simply leaves context” and called Mortensen’s “relentless, desperate, attention-seeking, hurtful campaign to hurt Taylor without regard for the consequences to their child.”
