Viewers who grew up on Disney Channel can’t help but feel uncomfortable watching their favorite stars grow up. Since ‘Jessie’ ended in 2015, the cast has experienced major life changes. In 2019, they faced a tragic death Cameron Boyce, who played Luke on the hit show. Since then, the stars love Skai Jackson, Karan Brar, Debbie Ryan, Peyton’s Listagain Kevin Chamberlin entered new chapters. ‘Jessie’ Cast Members reunite in New York City
On Sunday, Kevin Chamberlin, best known as the lovable mug Bertram on ‘Jessie,’ took to Instagram to share a series of photos featuring Debby Ryan, Karan Brar, and Peyton List. The text read, “Feels like a party everyday with @debbyryan @karanbrar @peytonlist.”
Under the post, the Cameron Boyce Foundation account dropped a series of purple heart emojis, calling them “the people we love and showing love. Debby Ryan also shared her carousel, including a photo of the ‘Data’ playbill, writing, “Karan’s performance is very good,” he added“sharp and powerful and timely and his performance is compelling.”
He concluded his text by looking at their growth, he wrote, “Karan and Peyton were 9 years older than me when we started filming Jessie. I am currently nine years older than Jessie’s character. And they and Kevin really live in NYC and thrive in theater. I have a child who is my… family.”
Karan Brar also expressed his gratitude to Debby and Kevin, writing, “I can’t believe that these two have come this way to see me perform on stage.”
A few weeks earlier, Kevin had connected with Peyton and Karan, sharing a heartfelt message about their accomplishments. He wrote, “So crazy proud of both Karan and Peyton at their NYC theater debut. Watching these two artists grow, constantly challenge themselves, and experience all that life has to offer has been a wonderful gift. Don’t miss @peytonlist on Heathers (brilliant) and @karanbrar on Data (amazing) if you’re in New York anytime soon.”
Peyton responded:I love you forever Uncle Kev,” while Karan added, “I love you more than you know, Kev.”
Skai Jackson Explains Why She Wasn’t Into ‘Jessie’ Link-Up
While many ‘Jessie’ fans felt confused, others took Skai Jackson’s words to task and asked why she wasn’t photographed with the other cast members. Another wrote, “Why didn’t you come to Jessie’s reunion?” The actor replied:
“It wasn’t a reunion. They all happened to be in NYC and connected. I don’t live in NYC, some of them do! Karan sent me pictures a few days ago.”
Under The Shade Room Teens, Skai also addressed speculation about the cast’s tension after the writer wrote, “Ofc was going to talk about it but he also doesn’t like Emma for some reason so he hasn’t come yet.” He quickly shut that down, and replied, “Who told you that? You’re all too focused on other people’s lives and always loud and negative.”
One commenter asked, “So meet?” Skai explained, “A reunion is something planned in advance. That wasn’t planned, they just happened to be there. I hope it helps!”
