When it comes to Kate’s role in her son’s ascension to the throne, Koenig said, “She will have no constitutional role, unless she is an official in the worst case scenario, if George becomes king before the age of 18.”
The Princess of Wales will likely be there for George “as a loving, supportive mother,” Koenig said, “because he is her son first and foremost.”

“Obviously, I want to create a world where my son is proud of what we do, the world and the work that has an impact on people’s lives for the better,” explained William. “That’s a warning, I hope we don’t go back to some of those old habits [my brother Prince] Harry and I had to grow up inside, and I’m going to do everything I can to make sure we don’t go back to that situation.”
