Savannah Guthrie’s Management Today Responds To Her Mother Is Missing

Savannah Guthrie‘s Today Relatives think of his family as his mother, Nancy Guthriereported missing.
On Monday, February 2, broadcast, Sheinelle Jones again Craig Melvin presented a “deeply personal story” and shared a statement from Savannah, 54, and her family.
“On behalf of our family, I would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and messages of support. Right now, we are focused on the safe return of our beloved mother,” the statement read. “We thank law enforcement for their hard work in this case and encourage anyone with information to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900.”
Footage started playing of the Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos speaking to reporters on Sunday and said, “This is very concerning. We don’t usually take an officer out of a crime scene like this. But it is very concerning what we learn from the house. So we will continue. The detective homicide team is out right now looking at the scene.”
When asked if foul play was suspected, Nanos shared that he may not be “expelled” at this time. The sheriff went on to note that there was “some concern” about what was found at Nancy’s home, prompting authorities to call in search and rescue and criminal investigation teams. Volunteers on the ground, drones, dogs and a helicopter help them search.
“We have given up everything we can,” added Nanos. “[Nancy] he’s 84 years old and he’s not in good physical health, so naturally that’s a big concern.”
Nanos noted that Nancy has a “clear mind,” but there may be other limitations in her physical movement. “We will be here all night, fixing the house,” he said.
On Sunday, February 1, news broke that Nancy was reported missing by her family in Tucson, Arizona, at noon, according to the County Sheriff’s Department. Authorities noted that Nancy is a “vulnerable adult” and was last seen “at her home” on Saturday, January 31.

Jenna Bush Hager got emotional when Savannah Guthrie’s missing mother was interviewed on Monday’s show Today With Jenna & Sheinelle.
“We have to start the show with what we’re going to face this morning,” Bush Hager, 44, said as he fought back tears. “Nancy Guthrie, Savannah’s beloved mother and loved one here, has been reported missing in Arizona.”
Bush Hager shared that he hopes viewers will call in with any relevant information, noting that Nancy “takes daily medication” that she needs “to survive” and may be “off her meds.”
“We love Nancy, I know her personally,” he said before concluding: “We are thinking of our beloved Savannah and her entire family right now.” Obviously our prayers go out to Savannah.”

Willie Geist shared a message to her fans on social media on Monday, along with a photo of Nancy Guthrie. “If you have any information on the whereabouts of our dear friend Savannah Guthrie’s mother Nancy, please call the Arizona State Police,” Geist wrote. “You’re lost.”
