Savannah Guthrie and Siblings Address Missing Mother’s Captors in New Video

“We got your message and we understand,” said Savannah, 54, in a new video shared on her Instagram on Saturday, February 7, as she knelt down and held the hands of her siblings. “We are now asking you to return our mother to us so that we can be happy with her, that is the only way we will have peace, this is very important to us and we will pay.”

Nancy. 84, was reported missing in early February, and local police in Arizona confirmed that she was last seen on January 31.
“On behalf of our family we want to thank you all for your prayers for our beloved mother, Nancy,” Savannah said in an Instagram video with her siblings. Annie Guthrie again Cameron Guthrie uploaded on February 4. “We feel and continue to believe that she does too. Our mother is a kind, loyal, faithful, incredibly loving woman with beauty and light. She is funny, smart and intelligent.”
He continued, “He has grandchildren who love him and surround him and shower him with kisses. He loves fun and entertainment. He is a devoted friend. He is full of kindness and knowledge.”
Meanwhile, Savannah revealed that her relatives were “ready to talk” about paying a ransom for Nancy’s safe return home.
“As a family, we are doing everything we can. We are ready to talk. However, we live in a world where words and images are easily changed,” said Savannah. “We need to know without a doubt that you are alive and with her. We want to hear from you, and we are ready to listen. Please contact us.”
Savannah ended the siblings’ video with a heartfelt plea directly to Nancy.
“Mother, if you hear this, you are a strong woman, you are a precious daughter of God, Nancy. We believe and know that even in this village, you are with us,” said the TV reporter. “Everybody wants you mom everywhere, we won’t rest. Your kids won’t rest until we’re together again. We talk to you every minute. And we pray without ceasing, and we look forward to the day we hold you in our arms again. We love you, Mom.”
The next day, Savannah’s brother issued a strong message to Nancy’s suspected abductor. (There are currently no suspects in Nancy’s disappearance, but local police have not ruled out the possibility of a kidnapping.)
“Whoever is out there holding our mother, we want to hear from you. We haven’t heard anything directly,” Cameron said in a social media video dated February 5. “We need you to get in touch and we need a way to contact you to move forward. But first, we need to know if you have our mother. We want to talk to you and we’re waiting to hear from you.”
On the same day, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested one for “a fraudulent ransom demand.”
“You will find out more about that from the FBI and our US Attorney’s office here in Arizona when it becomes available,” FBI Phoenix Special Agent in Charge. Heath Janke said in a press conference. “We’re still going through a normal kidnapping case, there will be contacts now trying to discuss that, but those are the times we’re looking at as we go forward.”
Nancy shared Savannah, Annie and Camron with her late husband, Charles Guthriewho died in 1988 after a heart attack at the age of 49.
