Who Sings the National Anthem at Super Bowl 60? Meet Charlie Puth

Charlie Puth has the right to sing the “Star-Spangled Banner” at Super Bowl LX.

“It’s very difficult to sing a song,” Puth said at a press conference in February 2026 before the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show. “You’re hitting five more notes about an octave, and that’s very difficult. I think it’s important not to oversing it.”

Puth said that although the song is difficult, he hopes that Super Bowl 60 viewers will “feel inspired” by his singing of the American national anthem.

“I want everyone to know that music is an amazing thing and can change many people’s lives,” she said. “Besides the food, the thing is … that everyone loves music. [to sing the national anthem].”

How Charlie Puth Prepared to Sing the National Anthem at the 2026 Super Bowl

At the 2026 press conference, Charlie Puth broke down how he prepared to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

“A lot of signing in the shower, a lot of singing by myself in the car,” he laughed. “Playing a lot of the record and how I’m feeling will resonate in my head, and we’ll see how it goes on the big day.”

Before Puth’s translation, Brandi Carlile again Coco Jones will sing “America the Beautiful” and “Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing,” respectively.

Charlie Puth rose to fame in 2015 with his song, “See You Again,” with Wiz Khalifa. Puth has released three studio-length albums and been nominated for four Grammy Awards.

Charlie Puth got married Brooke Samsonhis childhood friend, in September 2024 after two years of dating.

“Since my life is so hectic and I’m traveling everywhere, it’s so nice to have someone close to you that you’ve known for a long time,” said Puth. The Howard Stern Show in 2022. “[Brooke has] he was always very good to me, and I thought there were inevitably difficult times in the future, because that is life without valleys and peaks, he will be there with me.”

Charlie Puth Plans to Balance Parenthood and Visitation

“It’s going to be a challenge,” Charlie Puth admitted Entertainment Tonight in February 2026. “I will make it happen. If I have to walk off the stage and fly back just to spend the night with my wife and baby, I will do whatever it takes.”
