RHOBH’s Amanda Frances Breaks the Silence on Past DUI and Arrest

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newcomer Amanda Frances spoke candidly about his previous DUI, which happened “about 10 years ago” in 2016.
“It’s off,” he said of his legal case during an interview Reach out to Hollywood“Housewives Nightcap” podcast on Friday, January 30, revealing what led to her now-dismissed DUI charge.
“I didn’t leave the parking lot,” explained Amanda, 41. “I tried to get my car out of the parking lot.” Bravo noticed that there was a gate and he didn’t want his car to get stuck behind it.
“And the guy who was hitting on me all night and playing with me and trying to get my attention was like ‘you shouldn’t be driving…’ And I was like, ‘I’m trying to move my car.’ However, I was blocked. I couldn’t move my car. I had cars here and there. I couldn’t get out so I called an Uber,” he added. “I walked into the street and when I got to the Uber door handle, the policeman tapped me on the shoulder and said, ‘That guy says you’ve been drinking and driving.’ I said, ‘I tried to move my car.’ I was telling the truth, I had nothing to hide.”

During her interview, Amanda also reflected on her two-year association with a church she described as “very controlling” and “very manipulative,” noting that a religious organization fits the definition of a cult.
The reality star said she launched the blog at the same time as her business. His first entry in October 2015 described his experience of the cult and how he came to terms with his decision to join when the signs were there. (Amanda is a women’s empowerment coach and author of a best-selling book Rich as F*ckpublished in December 2020. He also teaches online courses on financial planning and hosts the “And She Rises” podcast.)
“All my life, I’ve written about whatever was real and true to me,” he explained in his blog post.
Amanda shed more light on her experience in an exclusive interview with her Us Weekly while we are promoting RHOBH‘s 15th season.
“I have two degrees from a Bible school, I have a degree in pastoral training, and then my degree is from a religious university,” he said. “Between ministry training school and bachelor’s, for two years, I was very involved in a church that I consider a cult.”
He continued, “It is consistent with all the principles of the cult. It is consistent with all forms of religious molestation.
