Jai Opetaia Defeated Brandon Glanton Over 12 Rounds in Vegas

In the fifth round, a right uppercut from Opetaia to the head hurt Glanton again in the last minute. In the sixth round, Opetaia continued to attack the body and took another round, and Glanton lost a hold point. In the last minute of the seventh round, both fighters threw punches. In the eighth round, Glanton landed a few low blows and lost a point to referee Allen Huggins.
In the ninth round, both fighters had their moments. Opetaia continued to work the body, and Glanton ended the round with a right to the chin. In the tenth round, Opetaia landed a lead uppercut to the body of Glanton. Just when it looked like Glanton might be ready to go, he fought back and landed a right to the body of Opetaia.
In the eleventh round, Opetaia lost a hold point. In the twelfth and final round, action remained competitive with steel.
All three judges scored it 119-106.
Salas Stops Saracho
Ricardo Adan Salas stopped Jesus ‘Junior’ Saracho at 2:05 of the eighth round of a fight scheduled for 10 rounds.
In the first round, a snap from Salas rocked Saracho at the last minute. In the second round, both had their moments in a close round. In the third round, Salas landed two rights to the chin of Saracho in the closing seconds to take the round.
In the final 30 seconds of the fourth round, Saracho landed a combination to the chin, but in the closing seconds, Salas responded with a quick takedown to end the round. In the fifth round, Salas landed a right uppercut to the body that hurt Saracho midway through the round. In the closing seconds, Salas landed more punches to take the round.
In the sixth round, Salas landed a left hook to the body that hurt Saracho in the opening minute, though Saracho fought well in the break. In the seventh round, Salas landed a right uppercut on Saracho’s injured chin before the two exchanged punches midway through the round. The Salas finished the round strong with good body work.
In the eighth round, Salas hurt Saracho with several punches to the body when the referee looked ready to step in. Salas fell to the body again, injuring Saracho and forcing referee Robert Hoyle to stop the fight.
Panin Stops Group
Vlad ‘Super Bad’ Panin stopped Shinard Bunch at 2:29 of the ninth round of the 10-round bout.
It was a one-sided battle for eight rounds with Panin leading the way. In the ninth round, Panin landed several punches, forcing referee Allen Huggins to stop.
Palma Defeats Rubio
Adan Palma won a split decision over Pablo ‘Shark’ Rubio Jr. over eight rounds after scoring two knockdowns.
In the third round, a jumping hook from Palma dropped Rubio for an eight count. Moments later, Palma takes Rubio down and with a right to the chin for another count. In the fourth round, Rubio went back, although Palma’s left hook continued to work well.
In the fifth round, Palma landed two hooks to the chin. Rubio responded with an iron combo in the next round. In the sixth round, Rubio landed several unanswered punches midway through the fight.
In the eighth and final round, Rubio came face-to-face.
The scores were 76-74 for Rubio and 78-77 twice for Palma.
Juarez Wins Decision
Joshua Jay Juarez defeated Jardae Anderson in eight rounds.
Juarez used a forward style to pressure Anderson while piling up points with hand speed and hitting volume. The pace slowed down in the second half of the fight until the last ten seconds, when both fighters traded blows.
Scores were 77-75, 79-73, and 78-74.
Ramos and Perez Draw
Jaycob Ramos fought to a maximum draw against Ethan Perez over six rounds.
Both fighters hit the canvas during the fight. In the second round, Perez dropped Ramos with a left hand in the count of eight. Ramos was able to wait on the metal.
In the third round, Ramos returned the favor, dropping Perez with right hands for another eight count.
The results were 57-55 Ramos and 56-56 twice.
Ochoa and Serrano Draw
Brady Ochoa fought to a maximum draw against Adrian Serrano over six rounds.
The fighters won six rounds of competition.
The results were 58-56 Ochoa and 57-57 twice.
Alvarado Wins a Decision
Emiliano Alvarado defeated Eric Rosado in six rounds.
After losing the opening round, Alvarado dropped Rosado in the second round and controlled the rest of the fight.
All scores were 59-55.
