Craig Conover she finally revealed how hard she fell for the costar Charlie Manley after he fell in love with an ex-girlfriend Paige DeSorbo.
“I think we were closer than anyone knew. We were on FaceTime for hours at night. We talked for hours a day, every day,” Craig, 37, said. Sally Carson about her relationship with Charley, 28, on Wednesday, March 11, Southern Charm season 11 finale.
“He was supposed to go with me and my brother and sister-in-law to France,” he continued. “We had big plans.”
Despite Craig’s strong feelings for Charley, he succeeded the businessman throughout the last episode after getting the ick on their trip to Mexico earlier that week.
“I feel like any time you two argue – I wish it hadn’t turned into an argument,” Charley told Craig during the team’s Carolina Day party after she shunned him.
Charley commented that it was “upsetting” to watch Craig play Salley, 31, in Mexico, for allegedly interfering in her life and their romantic relationship.
“Everybody has a bad night and Salley got in my head,” Craig said before apologizing. “It was too bad. I would have accepted the painful heartbeat but I can’t.”

Nila Guiss/BravoCharley explained that she “couldn’t deny” that she and Craig had a “good time” during their brief courtship, but things changed when she watched him scold his friend.
“As I said before, I was very interested in you. My switch flipped in Mexico. I only see you as friends now,” he admitted.
Craig was defeated, telling the cameras, “I let my guard down with Charley. This is not something I’m repeating or something I’m distracting myself from. So, to be wiped out overnight is a mistake.”
While talking to Charley, Craig admitted that their time together has given him hope that he will find love again after his breakup with Paige. (Paige, 33, and Craig dated for three years before splitting after Thanksgiving in 2024.)
“I loved you enough, I would have chosen you over my ex,” she said. “I didn’t think I’d ever feel that way again.”
Charley was clearly surprised by Craig’s admission, telling him, “I didn’t know that.”
“We didn’t get there,” Craig replied, noting that they were growing into something. “We are very happy.”

Nila Guiss/BravoCharley insisted, “I’m not going anywhere, friendly wise.” However, Craig said, “We’re not going to be just friends.”
Charley ended the conversation by saying, “We can try.”
Throughout season 11 of Southern Charmfans watched as Craig tried to navigate his new single status. The season was Craig’s first since he and Paige broke up (the season was filmed in 2025.)
In addition to trying to woo Charley by taking him on an oyster date and flirting at work, Craig had hot hangouts with cosar Salley. (New Whitner Slagsvol and took a “shot” at dating Charley, but became friends. Shave Rose (he hit on Charley during filming, but he wasn’t interested.)

Craig eventually chose Charley to follow him, but according to the trailer for season 11, which dropped on Wednesday, they had different interpretations of their time together.
Craig said in a preview of the reunion that Charley “promised not to talk to anyone the whole time we were together,” despite Salley saying she was in contact with other men.
Charley said, “I didn’t say” that, telling Craig that they were out “in just two days.” Craig was upset, saying, “I was depressed.”
