Logan Paul he almost became the new owner of Hulk Hogan‘s bloody wrestling boots before losing the bidding war.
“I stayed up until 2 in the morning in a bidding war trying to win a pair of signed and worn Hulk Hogan boots from Wrestlemania 1,” Paul, 30, wrote via X on Sunday, March 1. “The caption read ‘These are my real boots with my real blood on them from MSG, Hulk Hogan.’
He continued, “I’m out $1,021,000. Gg to the winner.
Paul shared a screenshot of the yellow lace-up boots, with Hogan’s message written on the side. The photo noted that Hogan was wearing boots in 1985.
According to the screenshot, the boots were sold on Saturday for $1,037,000. The message below read that Paul’s last bid of $1,021,750 was finally passed.
Hogan began his wrestling career in the late 1970s, later joining WWE in 1979. He officially retired from wrestling in 2012. More than a decade later, Hogan died of a heart attack in July 2025. He was 71 years old.
Medical records obtained by Us Weekly revealed that Hogan had a history of leukemia CLL. One month before his death, said the source Us that Hogan had “very bad” heart surgery but was “doing well.”
Paul, meanwhile, is making his in-ring debut at WrestleMania in 2022. That same year, Paul announced that he had signed with WWE.

Paul won his first major belt in WWE in 2023, he became the champion of the United States after defeating the Hall of Fame wrestler. Rey Mysterio at the Crown Jewel event.
Earlier this year, Paul made headlines when he mocked a wrestling match Bad rabbit — a longtime wrestling fan — after previously sharing on the red carpet that he wasn’t happy with the rapper’s Super Bowl Halftime show. (Paul later admitted on his podcast that he was “an ass” on the red carpet.)
“Let’s pull back the curtain. I’m going to stop playing. Bad Bunny is a superstar,” Paul said on the February 17 episode of his “Impaulsive” podcast. “He can be a WWE star again if he wants to. He’s a great player. He can wrestle.”
He continued, “There’s been talk about maybe wrestling. It’s been floating around. I’ve been adamant that I’d love to do it. I think it’s going to be the biggest WWE match of all time. I absolutely believe that.”
