Dakota Mortensen he was granted a temporary protective order Taylor Frankie Paul amid new allegations of domestic violence.
“The Court finds that there is reason to believe that: it has jurisdiction over the parties and this case, the Defendant and the Petitioner are settled, the Defendant will be given notice of his opportunity to be heard at the scheduled hearing,” court documents obtained by. Under the order, Paul cannot contact Mortensen and must “obey all orders contained in this form and not abuse, or threaten to abuse, anyone protected by this order.”
Paul and Mortensen will be arraigned on Tuesday, April 7, regarding the allegations. Until then, the MomTok creator must stay “100 feet” away from her ex-spouse and cannot “contact, phone, e-mail, mail or otherwise communicate” before the hearing.
Earlier this week, news broke that Utah police were called to Paul’s home after an alleged altercation with Mortensen. Taylor, who lives with two children and an ex-husband Father Paul and 2-year-old son Ever and Mortensen, were arrested for domestic violence after fighting a DadTok member in 2023. He pleaded guilty to aggravated assault.
Mortensen he filed for protection on Thursday, March 19, shortly after Taylor’s 2023 flinging photos resurfaced making headlines. In his petition, he also asked for temporary custody of Ever.

If you do not obey the order of the right of custody and the work of the parent written here, the person who has the right of custody may ask for the help of the court by filing a request to enforce that order.”
According to the order, Taylor will not have visitation with Ever until his court hearing next month.
“Parenting time is temporarily suspended pending the hearing and recommendation of the Guardian ad Litem,” the documents state. “If there is a No Contact order, you can only contact the applicant or the custodial parent about parenting time matters through using [a] legal representative.”

Due to Taylor’s feud with Mortensen and the right to stay, ABC was canceled his upcoming season of The Bachelorette.

Mortensen denied all the allegations against him in a separate statement.
