Rams’ Puka Nacua breaks the silence during a whirlwind courtship

Puka Nacua has been spotted with a number of women in the past few weeks, but he insists that he is single and that his days are just “trying to meet new friends” in Los Angeles.
The Rams receiver opened up about his whirlwind season on this week’s episode of the “One Night with Steiny” podcast, and said that despite some of his recent nights, he’s not a big player who jumps from girl to girl.
“I’m just trying to meet new friends,” said the 24-year-old. “It was fun meeting people in LA.”
Nacua’s love interests first gained national attention in January, when he tried to film a date with Sydney Sweeney on the X post.
After a while, she was seen wrestling with Hannah Stocking in West Hollywood, then at the Daytona 500 with Charlotte Flair.
A few weeks ago, a video of him at the mall with Sara Saffari and pictures of him sitting rink-side with social media star Overtime Megan at a Kings game have sparked speculation about his love life.
But Nacua insisted during his time on Steiny’s show – which was actually co-run by Saffari – that the meetings were platonic.
He added that he may take steps in the near future to start avoiding the narrative.
“I have to use the private membership site that I usually have,” he said. “Invite all my new friends there.”
Nacua testified that his shooting at Sweeney was unanswered. He also openly stated that he and Saffari “don’t like each other.”
“I’m single right now,” the two-time Pro Bowler said. “I love dancing. I love listening to Drake. I love skydiving.”
Nacua noted that his quarterback, Matthew Stafford, has reached out for some advice as Nacua continues to draw attention.
“He definitely had some words for me,” said Nacua. “Like, maybe let’s choose our next decisions wisely before we make them.”
Still, there may be at least one date that will make headlines this month — as Nacua and Saffari have agreed to hit a Lakers game soon.
