‘Price Is Right’ model Holly Hallstrom exposes ‘brutal’ Bob Barker for trying to ‘ruin’ ex-employees

Former “Price Is Right” model Holly Hallstrom was very serious about exposing the late host Bob Barker even before she was asked to appear on E!’s new docuseries. “Dirty Rotten Scandals”.

“My plan was to find a reporter and tell them the whole story myself,” the 73-year-old told Page Six.

“And it was — just put it out there,” he said. “It can be there for anyone to see.”

But Hallstrom’s plan changed thanks to reporter David Kushner, who wrote a 2024 Business Insider piece about Barker’s alleged sexual harassment.

“David put me together with these people who were making a documentary about the history of the MeToo movement, and the place of ‘Price Is Right’ in that history,” Hallstrom explained.

But after they started watching ‘The Price Is Right,’ they said, ‘We should do a documentary on ‘The Price Is Right.’ There’s a lot there.’”

In the docuseries, which premiered on E! on March 18, Hallstrom revealed the truth after he was fired from the game show in 1995.

Hallstrom says she was told she was fired because she was fat, but she said the real reason she and other actresses lost their jobs was because they refused to testify in court on Barker’s behalf after fellow model Dian Parkinson, who was dating the actress, accused her of sexual harassment in 1994.

After Hallstrom took her case to the media, Barker sued her for defamation, but later dropped the suit days before their 2000 trial.

Hallstrom, in turn, sued Barker for malicious prosecution. He received a multi-million dollar settlement out of court in 2005.

Hallstrom tells Page Six that he should have waited until after Barker, who hosted the show from 1972 to 2007, died at the age of 99 in August 2023 to speak fully about him.

He says: “Bob Barker hit me with that bogus case and dragged me to court for ten years until I had nothing left,” he says.

“If he was alive, he would do it again in a heartbeat.”

After telling the doctor that she “hated” Barker, Hallstrom told us how she really feels about the late TV icon.

He explains: “Hate is a strong word, there’s a clear reason I didn’t focus on him. “And that was because Bob Barker was mean. There are many people in Hollywood who are in callous and manipulative positions. But he also had a bad heart.”

Hallstrom continues, “He was cruel and vindictive. He wasn’t happy about firing you and losing your job and your salary and your home and your job and your reputation. He wanted to destroy you. And a lot of people lost their jobs because they didn’t lie. And that’s why I hate him so much.”

This player who once had “Barker’s beauty” also explained why he will not blame the fans of this favorite game for opposing the home team despite the allegations.

“From a public perspective, the public had heard 90 percent of Barker’s side of the story and almost none of ours,” he notes.

“So we would have no reason for them not to believe that he was the Santa Claus that they believed he was,” added Hallstrom.

Hallstrom also believes it would be “silly” for anyone from Barker’s camp to talk about docuseries.

“If they open that door, we’re just going to drive in a truck with court documents and corroborating evidence, evidence and video tape,” he told Page Six.

“Remember, it’s on videotape. That would be a very stupid mistake for them to make.”

Reruns of “Dirty Rotten Scandals: The Price is Right” are airing on E! and the series is now available to stream on demand on Fandango Home.
