The Winter Palace
In 1899, Andre Morel envisions a luxury hotel open all winter. Armed with a dream and her hospitality experience, she tries to persuade Lord Fairfax to invest in his hotel in the Swiss mountains.
Together they work to open the hotel, battling demanding guests, mutinous employees and bad weather.

Northern Exposure – seasons 1-6

A newly graduated doctor from New York City, Dr. Joel Fleischman, is sent to work in the fictional town of Cicely, Alaska, to fulfill his obligation after Alaska pays for his medical education. Early episodes deal with Fleischman’s culture shock in a small town.
While the show was based on the fish-out-of-water clash between Fleischman’s big-city ways and the small-town environments of Cicely’s residents, its focus shifted to delve deeper into the idiosyncratic personalities of the city’s oddballs.

The Coroner – seasons 1-4

The Coroner an actor-driven drama about Dr. Jenny Cooper, a recently deceased widow, is a new detective who investigates any suspicious, unnatural or sudden death in Toronto.
Each death brings Jenny to a new arena in the city, and sparks interesting themes. Jenny touches on what she feels is her wisdom and heart as she solves cases with the help of Homicide Detective Donovan McAvoy, a man who is not afraid to challenge the status quo; pathologist Dr. Dwayne Allen, his assistant River Baitz; and Alison Trent, Jenny’s assistant, who always keeps it real.
As Jenny solves a mysterious death, she faces clinical anxiety, a teenage son, Ross, who is still grieving the death of his father, and the prospect of starting a new relationship with the mysterious Liam, her neighbor and assistant.

But the home is not as he left it. Nora lives with a secret roommate: Dee (Hall), the ghost of Darcy’s pre-transition teenage self. As old wounds return, Darcy must face the parts of himself and try to leave them behind or risk losing himself completely.
