For now, Heizer enjoys the unofficial title of uncle to Whitman’s real son.
In August 2024, Whitman – who played Drew’s sister, Amber Holt, continued Parenthood – announced the arrival of her first child named Miles.
“I was so shocked and honored and scared and overwhelmed,” Heizer said in response to the name. “It’s a really kind thing for someone to do, and I’m afraid I don’t deserve it, but I’m very happy.”
