‘Michael’ is now streaming – How to watch the Michael Jackson movie

It is the second highest grossing movie of the year so far to spend a month on its streaming channel.

“Michael,” the Michael Jackson biopic that debuted in theaters on April 24 is now available to watch on demand on VOD platforms including Prime Video. It has grossed over $880 million worldwide since its release after dominating the box office for weeks after its release.

Jaafar Jackson, in his first film, stars as Michael Jackson. Jaafar is the nephew of Michael and the son of Jackson 5 member Jermaine.

Per Prime Video’s official synopsis for the film, “discusses Michael Jackson’s life beyond music, tracing his journey from discovering his extraordinary talent as the lead singer of the Jackson Five to becoming the world’s greatest artist.

The sequel, which follows the life and career of Michael Jackson after 1988, is said to be in development after “Michael” became a hit.

“Michael” is streaming on demand on platforms like Prime Video now. The digital release date for “Michael” is today, June 9.

How to watch ‘Michael’ biopic on Prime Video

“Michael” is available for digital purchase on Prime Video. The movie costs $24.99 to buy or $19.99 to rent. Digital shopping comes with more behind the scenes, while renting does not.

You won’t need to be a paid Amazon Prime member to buy “Michael,” but you will need at least a free Amazon account; That way, you can go back to watch “Michael” whenever you want.

On-demand video rentals are good for 30 days, but expire 48 hours after the first hit on the rented title.

‘Michael’ DVD, Blu-ray and 4K release date

While you can stream “Michael” at home now, some may prefer a physical alternative to having movies digitally, where there’s always the chance that the rights could be revoked and you’ll lose digital access. Portable discs are proof that, as long as you have a player to play them, you’ll be able to watch the movies you own.

4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD copies of “Michael” will be released on July 14, but you can pre-order now on Amazon to get your copy on release day.
