Amanda Batula swore to protect Ciara Millerheart from West Wilson in the latest episode of Summer House – months before confirming that she is dating her ex.
“I was like, ‘The last thing I want to do is ask Ciara and West out on a date,'” Amanda, 34, told the housemate. Mia Calabrese on the Tuesday, May 5, episode of the Bravo series after learning that the cost Ben Waddell and his girlfriend, Sabrina Bellewanted to go on a so-called “double date” with Ciara, 30, and West, 31, which they arranged a week earlier.
Amanda revealed that Ciara and West “recently became friends” following their split in 2023.
“I think it’s pretty close,” Mia told Amanda as they sat on the beach watching Ciara and West flirt and play with their fellow Hamptons staff.
Amanda insisted she was cool because the ex ended up dating again – but she wasn’t sure West was in the right place to show Ciara at the time.
“Even if they get back together – they’re happy,” Amanda said. “It would really make me the happiest person in the world. The happiest. But he needs to stay ready. He is.”
Mia was in complete agreement, replying, “He needs to go inside and he won’t be able to meet her like that again.”

“I doubt her and I’m tired of her,” Amanda admitted, as Mia replied, “My concern is not Ciara at all.”
Amanda noted that Ciara is a “very special, incredible person” who needs to be treated “differently than any other woman in the world.”
She revealed that West wasn’t the one she photographed getting up to the party – at least not that summer. “Until a man can do that, I don’t trust anyone with his heart,” Amanda admitted.
Amanda then turned to Mia and swore, “I will die for that girl. [I’d] attack.”

The couple said in a joint Instagram Story at the time that “it wasn’t our intention to hide anything on purpose,” but they were trying to sort out their feelings for each other before going public.
The declaration of love caused an uproar among Bravo fans and the Summer House throw. Just two months earlier, Amanda and her estranged husband Kyle Cooke announced their separation after four years of marriage.

West’s relationship with Amanda resurfaced after problems arose with Ciara, who he dated in 2023 and ended up dating for many years. The source is only told Us Weekly in April that West and Ciara had been in contact as recently as “about three to four weeks ago” and that Ciara knew nothing about Amanda.
While West later said there was no “meeting” between any of the relationships, Kyle, 43, admitted in an April TikTok interview that he’s looking back at how “nice” West was with Amanda when they filmed their show last summer.
Ciara, on the other hand, told It’s a luxury last month that she and West have created “boundaries” in the past to help steer their friendship in the right direction. “One of those [boundaries] he was no longer sleeping with people on Bravo. Obviously, now that’s out the window,” he laughed.
Despite the differences, West and Amanda are still in love, which fans will learn more about when the season 10 reruns air later this month.
“The actors are crazy about West and Amanda because of the way they handled things during the meeting,” said the source. Us Tuesday, noting that Ciara will “never be friends” with West or Amanda after what happened at the reunion.
