Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards 2026 Winners

Tonight’s event also featured honors presented by IATSE Local 706, with Amy Madigan receiving the Distinguished Artisan Award presented by them. Weapons director Zach Cregger and the film’s hair and make-up teams. Longtime Emmy-winning Nickelodeon makeup artist Michael Johnston received the Vanguard Award.
In addition, Angry Bull and Michael Jackson Thriller makeup artist Greg Nelson was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award for Make-up, presented by Robert Patrick and David Hussey, while Forrest Gump again The Matrix hairstylist Judy Alexander Cory received the Lifetime Achievement Award for Hair Stylists presented by Kathy Bates.
The IATSE Local 706 awards recognize outstanding achievement in the arts and crafts of makeup artists and hairstylists. The 2025 calendar year nominations cover 20 categories across film, TV, music videos and live stage performances – including Broadway, international theater and theme parks.
