This isn’t the first time Lil Wayne has spoken about his disappointment at being excluded
As Shade Room previously reported, in September 2024, Lil Wayne expressed his disappointment at not being named to headline Super Bowl LIX, which was held in his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana.
In the end, Kendrick Lamar was chosen to perform at the 2025 Super Bowl, and in November of 2024, Wayne shared that he felt the opportunity was “taken away” from him.
Finally, Wayne ended up teasing ‘Tha Carter VI’ and shared that he didn’t watch Lamar’s performance.
