Kyle Cooke see West Wilsona past flirtatious relationship with his estranged wife, Amanda Batulain a completely different way after the two confirmed their friendship turned into love.
“When I look back, there are many of us who look at his body language and how touching and beautiful he is with her,” Kyle, 43, told. Adam Glynn in a TikTok shared on Wednesday, April 1. “And I gave him a little hall pass, [saying]’Oh, it’s in the west.’”
Kyle – who was married to Amanda, 34, for four years before they split in January – added that after watching West, 31, play. Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen and his own Summer House confessors, he is seeing in a new way what he thought was justifiable behavior.
“I can’t believe he went there,” Kyle said of West’s decision to end up dating him, who protected Amanda at the time. Summer House season 10 follows an argument between her and Kyle after the Loverboy founder calls his then-wife a “dumbass idiot”.
During the Tuesday, March 31 episode, West told Kyle that he and Jesse Solomon they were her “friends” and “had her back” after Kyle left with Amanda for a week before she seemed to prioritize spending time with everyone in the house over herself.
“Talk to us and we’ll talk to you. Don’t just take it out on Amanda,” West told Kyle during the episode. “I’m sorry, apologize and just go to bed and don’t forgive him. Try that.”
Hours before Tuesday’s episode aired, West and Amanda released a statement on their Instagram Stories saying they were dating after weeks of speculation, noting that their romance was “the last thing” the pair “expected”.

In addition to West showing support for Amanda and Kyle while filming, fans noticed that West was more emotional than usual during season 10, which filmed in the summer of 2025.

Kyle, meanwhile, revealed on Wednesday that he now sees things differently after West and Amanda confirmed on Tuesday that their “feelings evolved” from friendship months ago.
“West seems to be a guy who plays a lot of women at the same time,” Kyle said.
She noted that when Amanda told her about the statement she and West had released, West had just sent her an “incomplete text.” Kyle described the message as “word salad.”

“Most of our listeners, most of our fans are women. Amanda is dealing with mental health issues,” he said. “Before you harass him online and give West a follow, maybe think twice.”

Kyle admitted he’s still “trying to figure out” how Amanda and West’s friendship turned into love.

“It makes sense to me because we still have a lot to watch in the summer,” said Kyle, adding that he is now in second place for everything.
