Kid Rock Turning Point USA halftime show praised amid criticism from Bad Bunny

Turning Point USA’s “All-American” Super Bowl broadcast on Sunday was met with praise.
The show, featuring Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett was broadcast on YouTube at the same time as the Super Bowl halftime game with Bad Bunny.
Many praised the other performance, millions tuned in – the numbers soared to a peak of 5 million viewers tuning in to the live stream on YouTube.
However, some called it “underwhelming,” while others criticized Kid Rock’s vocal ability.

Turning Point USA’s “All-American Halftime Show” also took a moment to honor founder Charlie Kirk.
The tribute took place as Kid Rock finished the song, and read: “In memory of Charlie Kirk,” along with photos of Charlie’s wife Erika and their children.
Kacey Musgraves hit out at Kid Rock when she took to X to share her thoughts.
The country singer wrote of Bad Bunny’s Halftime show: “Well. That made me feel more proud of being an American than anything Kid Rock ever did.”
However, Jake Paul took to the X two hours before the halftime game beating Bad Bunny.

Paul, who lives in Puerto Rico, criticized the Puerto Rican singer’s halftime show and told fans they “have the power” to use their voices.
“Shutting down the half-hour show on purpose. Let’s get together and show the big companies that they can’t do whatever they want without consequences (which are proportional to their viewers),” Paul wrote to X.
Adding: “You are their asset. Be aware that you are strong. Close this time off.”

Paul called Bad Bunny “a fake American citizen who hates America publicly.”
“I can’t support that,” said Paul.

One person just wrote on X: “TPUSA halftime show was the best. Thank you to all the artists who supported this great event.”
One called another game “awesome,” and another X user said the artists were “killing it.”

“Really beautiful, loving and touching,” read a tweet about the show.
They added: “I wasn’t sure if I would like it but I’m glad I did, all the singers were amazing.”

Another wrote: “Heard the Bad Bunny show was trash, No wonder.”
However, some were critical of the Turning Point show, questioning Kid Rock’s singing ability.
“Anyone who thinks Kid Rock can still sing is dumb. They were both surprised but to say the TPUSA halftime show was better is just bullshit,” wrote someone on X.
Another person criticized Turning Point USA: “A bad NFL NFL show will forever be better than a turning point halftime show.”
