MONTRÉAL — JetScale AI, a Quebec-based cloud infrastructure development company, has announced the closing of a $5.4 million funding round to accelerate its growth and deployment across North America and Europe. JetScale AI is led by Mehdi Merai and Gabriel De Lisi, two AI experts who founded, scaled and successfully exited the ML company Dataperformers. JetScale AI was co-founded by Diagram using its studio model, which founded successful Canadian technology companies Nesto and Dialogue. The Business Development Bank of Canada’s (BDC) Seed Venture Fund and the Diagram ClimateTech Fund co-led this seed round, with support from several established players, including Telegraph Ventures, Fondaction and Mavrik as well as Cycle Momentum and Spring Impact Capital.
